n8n-home

Privacy Policy

Effective September 23, 2026

In short

n8n-home is a private, self-hosted automation run by the owner of ssemenkoff.dev for their own household. It is not a public service. Nobody else can sign up, and the only Google account it connects to is its owner's.

What data it accesses

With the owner's permission, granted through Google OAuth, n8n-home reads messages in the owner's Gmail mailbox: sender, subject, date, message ID and message content.

How the data is used

n8n-home uses these messages only to build the owner's personal household overview:

The messages are processed by software running on the owner's own servers at home, including a locally hosted language model. Message content is not sent to any third-party AI or analytics service.

n8n-home does not use Gmail data for advertising, does not sell it and does not share it with anyone. No human other than the owner reads it.

What is stored and for how long

Security

All data stays on hardware the owner controls. Access from outside the home network is only over HTTPS and requires the owner's password and two-factor authentication. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted.

Google API Services User Data Policy

n8n-home's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deleting data

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation, n8n-home can no longer read the mailbox. On request, all data derived from the mailbox is deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
